Puzzle Completed: Internal Relocation FGGA
FGGA continues to grow: both the number of students and the number of staff members is increasing. We are proud of this. For students, additional study spaces and teaching rooms have already been created with the opening of the Spui University Campus. For staff, this growth means we will gain 300 m² of extra workspace, and that all units (with the exception of LUC) will relocate internally. Wijnhaven will therefore become even more our home base.
New Office Wings in Wijnhaven
In the future situation, the units will be located in the following areas of Wijnhaven:
- Public Administration: 4th floor, Turfmarkt side
- ISGA: 4th & 5th floors, Schedeldoekshaven side
- CPL: 5th floor
- Faculty Office: 4th and 6th floors
The Sliding Puzzle: How the Relocation Will Proceed
With the new layout, the ‘shifting’ of all departments has also been determined.The relocation will take place in the following order:
- CPL moves from Schouwburgstraat to Wijnhaven.
- The Faculty Office moves partly to the 6th floor.
- ISGA moves into the newly vacated space on the 5th floor.
- On the 4th floor, Public Administration and ISGA will swap wings, ensuring that ISGA occupies the same side on both the 4th and 5th floors.
A New Way of Working: Flexible and Recognisable
Alongside the relocation, the way of working will also change. Workspaces will become (even more) flexibly available according to a feel free welcome policy. To maintain a sense of ‘home’, units will determine the recognisable layout of their own spaces and their functional requirements.
