Leiden University Libraries’ Centre for Digital Scholarship offers various training workshops aimed at Leiden University research staff, including PhD candidates, again this spring and summer:
- How to write a Data Management Plan, 11 May 2026, 14:00-17:00 (UBL) · Lecture "From Data Creator to Data Reuser: Distance Matters" by professors Christine L. Borgman (UCLA) and Paul Groth (UvA), about the social fabric of data sharing and reuse.
- Summer Training Week, 8-12 June 2026, including:
o Cleaning data with OpenRefine
o Intro to Network analysis with Gephi
o Getting started with Preprinting
o All about Caps, and Read & Publish deals
