Workshop painting winter landscapes

Monday 4 March from 16:00-19:00 h

Robbert Kiewiet
Work on photo is from Pieter Breugel

For whom
All levels welcome.

In this workshop you will paint winter landscapes. Think of beautiful snowy hills in Austria, floating ice shelves in Antarctica or a Leiden cityscape in the snow.
The inspiration for the painting is a photo. You take one color photo of your favorite winter landscape with you.
You will use this in the lessons as a basis for your painting.
You will learn various techniques from old masters.
Attention is paid to the basic techniques such as composition, light / dark and perspective.

Materials present during the course.

The workshop is given by visual artist Robbert Kiewiet. Robbert graduated from the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht in the direction of autonomous art. Robbert has over 15 years of experience as a teacher. Has taught for 10 years at the Art Academy, was 4 years lecturer at Beelden in Leiden and taught for 5 years painting courses in Spain. In addition, Robbert has been providing painting workshops for companies and groups since 1998.
