Training course
- Target group
- Student counsellors like study advisers, professors, mentors, tutors. Everyone is welcome.
In this training, provided by GGZ Rivierduinen, you will learn more about mental health issues in an accessible way. The training lasts 4 hours. In this half-day session, we will teach you how to recognise mental health issues and then discuss how to respond. How do you start a conversation about this? What should you do or say? And what should you not do or say? What are your limits and responsibilities? We will also discuss where students can go for help.
All in all, it is an informative, interactive training with many practical tools to apply. There is plenty of room for asking questions and practising conversation techniques. This training course is offered by SEA, Student Well-being Team, for student counsellors within Leiden University, such as professors, mentors and student tutors.
If you have any questions about the training or registration, please send an email to staffwellbeing@sea.leidenuniv.nl.
