International partner universities

Our collaboration agreements offer both students and staff opportunities to broaden their horizons by spending some time abroad. The agreements also serve as a basis for research projects and other forms of collaboration.

Our faculty has established academic cooperation agreements with universities and institutes around the world, reflecting the global orientation of FGGA’s teaching and research. Examples include the University of Edinburgh (UK), University of Liverpool (UK), Sciences Po Paris (France), Freie Universität Berlin (Germany), Uppsala University (Sweden) Macalester College (USA), University of Wollongong (Australia) and Diego Portales University (Chile), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, National University of Singapore, National Taiwan University.

Many of our European partnerships are part of the Erasmus+ programme. Outside Europe, FGGA has concluded bilateral agreements with selected institutions that align with our academic focus in areas such as governance, international relations, security studies, liberal arts and sciences and public administration.

These partnerships enable mostly student mobility, and a selection also offers staff mobility (staff teaching and staff training), joint research initiatives, and collaborative teaching. A full overview of our current partners can be found under Staff mobility (FGGA tab).
