There are many challenges to tackle as an early career researcher with ambitions in their professional and private life. The Young Academy Leiden (YAL) is a group of early career scholars from all faculties at Leiden University, focussed on the future of universities. YAL aims to give them a voice. The Young Academy Leiden breaks out of disciplinary and institutional boundaries to create a community of early career scholars that is a driving force for fresh ideas within and beyond the university.
We recognize that researchers in the various faculties and disciplines face different challenges. Therefore, we invite early career scholars from the Faculty of Science to discuss what the YAL members of our faculty can do for you!
During this lunch, there will be representatives of our faculty board, academic affairs and HR, there is plenty of time to meet your other colleagues and YAL members of the Faculty of Science will shortly explain about YAL. Lunch is included.
