We are happy to welcome you to this unique event with Ambassador Chung-Kwang Tien of Taiwan, for his first visit to our Campus Den Haag. During a seminar and Q&A with Amb. Tien we will discuss Taiwan's international geopolitical position, as well as issues of concern to our students such as academic exchange opportunities in Taiwan. Additionally, we will be introduced to Taiwanese culture through music, and the Q&A will be interspersed with a concert presenting contemporary works rooted in traditional Taiwanese folk songs, reimagined through modern musical language and diverse artistic perspectives.
In this way, the seminar brings together diplomatic and academic voices to explore the relationship between Taiwan and Europe, alongside broader questions of identity and culture.
By bringing together dialogue and performance, the event offers an opportunity to engage with Taiwan through both thought and sound, contributing to a deeper international understanding of its cultural identity.
