BAS InSite
In January 2026, Leiden University will transition to a new Basic Administration System: BAS InSite. This system will replace SAP Self Service and parts of Serviceplein.
Manage everything through one system
The university aims to improve its business processes and systems, making them smarter and simpler so they better align with the modern way of working and collaborating within the university. Starting in 2026, every employee will handle HR and financial administrative tasks, as well as procurement, from one central, user-friendly environment, accessible via computer, tablet, or smartphone: the Basic Administration System (BAS InSite). This new system will replace SAP Self Service and parts of the Serviceplein.
