PSSC Service Point
The Personnel Shared Service Centre (PSSC) manages the University’s personnel administration. One of the facilities of the PSSC is the Service Point. You can contact the PSSC Service Point with any questions about staff regulations, working conditions and personnel changes.
From 1 July to 21 August, the PSSC Service Point can be reached by telephone from 09:00 - 12:30. As usual, you can ask your questions 24 hours a day via the Helpdesk portal.
Do you have an urgent request? Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The team will monitor incoming urgent requests and process them as soon as possible.
Questions or comments
The Service Point will process your question as quickly and efficiently as possible. If we are unable to answer your question, we will pass it on to one of the other PSSC teams (Inflow/Outflow Team, Mutations Team, Salary Administration Team).
Request employer’s statement (NHG)
The information on an employer's statement enables a bank, landlord or other organisation to determine your income. An employer’s statement can be requested at the PSSC Service Point via this form in the Helpdeskportal. You can request a statement for yourself or another employee. The PSSC Service Point will send the employer’s statement to the employee by email as quickly as possible.

Information sessions PSSC
Every last Thursday of the week between 15:30 – 16:30 CET, the PSSC Service Point will organize information session to familiarize new employees with all kinds of systems at Leiden University. Consider, for example, registering schedule changes in the Service portal, claiming travel expenses or changing your address details in SelfService.

The Zoom-session is freely accessible via this link, registration in advance is not necessary.

Custom-made information sessions
The PSSC Service Point can also facilitate custom-made information sessions. Send your request for a custom-made information session to the Helpdesk Portal. The custom-made information sessions are suited for employees who wish to obtain a deeper understanding of HR-related topics or processes. Examples being, preparing registrations in the Service Portal by secretaries, filling out P&D’s, registering PhD students or an introduction session for new supervisors.
Besides organizing information sessions, the PSSC Service Point is continuously working on updating her Knowledge Base. In the Helpdeskportal you can find all sorts of practical knowledge items to answer your questions and help you fill out administrative requests for the PSSC.
