PhD candidates
Leiden University strives to accommodate research talent, which is why it does its best to create an inspiring environment for PhD candidates. A PhD trajectory is a combination of research and personal development. Therefore, we offer a training program for PhDs that is both complete and challenging.
Transferable Skills Programme
This program has been developed for PhD candidates to work on their Transferable Skills. All employees and grant PhD candidates at Leiden University are required to complete a minimum of 140 hours of transferable skills training during their PhD trajectory. HR Leadership & Development has developed an extensive range of training courses to help PhD candidates meet this requirement. The complete range of offerings and all relevant information about the transferable skills programme can be found via the link below.
