Diversity

Within the university you can reserve rooms for educational and non-regular educational purposes, but also for events, meetings and gatherings.

If your work allows it, you can work partly from home and partly at the University. How this combination of working from home and at the University will turn out for you depends on your own working activities and situation and those of your team. This means that tailor-made solutions are needed.

If the University is involved in a crisis or calamity, a crisis management team will be formed. For small incidents, every building has its own Emergency Response Coordinator.

The Faculty Club is a meeting place for the University community, where you can enjoy a drink or an (in)formal lunch or dinner. It is also a great location for meetings, receptions, buffets and dinners.

If you have a membership at the University Sports Centre or SportCity, you can offset the costs of your sports membership against your gross salary.

If you come to work by car, you can apply for a parking subscription for one of Leiden University’s parking areas. The subscription is simply added to your LU Card. You can then use your LU Card to access the parking area.

Each programme has a Board of Examiners. This is a legal requirement.
