GenAI has rapidly emerged in recent years and requires significant attention in relation to our educational practice. Policies and regulations for the use of GenAI in education exist at the university, faculty, and institute or programme level, and may concern both student use and teacher use (as university staff). On this page, you will find a complete and up‑to‑date overview.

For staff members, the following general guidelines for responsible AI use are available.

Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs

The faculty board has established the policy framework Principles for Working with Generative AI within FGGA to provide fundamental guidelines for the use of this technology. It outlines in concrete terms how GenAI is handled within FGGA.

In every course on Brightspace, a document containing general student guidelines is automatically added. As a lecturer, you can choose whether or not to make this document visible to students. You can also find these student guidelines on the right-hand side of this page.
