Faculty Network on Education and Innovation

In academic year 23-24, FSW has launched a faculty network for enthusiastic lecturers who are explicitly engaged in education (innovation): the Faculty Network on Education and Innovation (FNEI). The network was established by the faculty board (following the recommendation of the VBE working group). It consists of lecturers from all FSW institutions and encourages multidisciplinary collaboration, educational innovations and initiatives within our faculty.

Theme-bases circles

The FNEI has five theme-based circles, which reflect the educational themes the network wants to focus on. Members can join circles to connect with colleagues, exchange knowledge and share best practices. The current circles are:

• Assessment
• Critical thinking
• Engagement with society
• Self-regulated learning
• Teaching large groups

The FNEI meets at least six times a year for exchange, inspiration and critical reflection on educational innovation and vision. Anyone with a heart for education at FSW is welcome to join!
