The Faculty Board is delighted to invite you to the first Tuesday Talks: Science Insights on 12 December! Tuesday Talks: Science Insights is Leiden Science’s monthly dose of research inspiration from our staff, for our staff.
Tuesday Talks: Science Insights successor of This Week’s Discoveries
During the strategy sessions, we got feedback from our community that they very much appreciated the This Week’s Discoveries seminar series that ran for more than 10 years up until the COVID pandemic. In these lunch seminars, two of our own scientists would give a short presentation about their research and attendants would have time to chat to each other while enjoying a sandwich. Taking this feedback to heart, the board is now relaunching the seminar series as a monthly gathering consisting of a full hour of a presentation by one of our researchers that is accessible for everyone in our community followed by drinks to meet each other informally.

Planning Tuesday Talks: Science Insights
The Tuesday Talks: Science Insights will be held every second Tuesday of the month from 16:00 hrs till 17:00 hrs followed by drinks and meet-up afterwards till 18.00 hrs. Dates for 2024 are:
