Shaping future-proof economics education during Economics Education Week

30 October 2025

How are you improving economics education? What’s your approach? What challenges or lessons can you share?

During the Economics Education Week, various events will be held throughout the country to discuss future-proof economics education.

On Tuesday 25 November, Radboud University in Nijmegen will host the national day for academic business and economics education. In a programme for and by professors, university lecturers, programme directors and (vice) deans of various universities, the future of economics and business administration in academic education will be discussed. In interactive sessions, presentations and workshops, experiences will be exchanged, new perspectives explored, and unexpected crossovers will arise.

The national academics day is a collaboration of Radboud University, Leiden University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, University of Groningen, University of Amsterdam, and the Dean’s Council on Economics & Business (DEB). Representing Leiden Law School of Leiden University, Jim Been and Philippe van Gruisen will present a fascinating session on welfare economics.

Sign up for this national academics day here.

Please note that the main language for the programme is English.
