From 10 to 12 February, all coffee machines at the KOG will be replaced. This includes the machines at all departments as well as the machines for students on the ground floor. During this time, there may be some disturbance due to noise while the work is being carried out. You may also have to go to another floor to get a cup of coffee at certain times.

Sustainable coffee beans, oat milk and decaf
The team to replace the machines will go through the departments one by one. The new machines are the same as the one that has been available on the first floor for a while. Besides coffee with regular milk, the new machines will offer oat milk and decaf. After an extensive tasting where many people gave their opinion, the UFB chose the coffee bean with the most votes. These sustainable coffee beans are used across all university buildings:

• Puro Fuerte – strong and intense
• Puro Fino – refined and mellow 

We have taken a critical look at how often certain machines are used by reading the number of cups dispensed. Based on the results, some least-used machines will not be replaced.

Ground floor
On the ground floor, the coffee machines for students will also dispense oat milk and provide loose tea bags made from organic Fairtrade tea (Puro tea). The snack and soft drink vending machines are also to be replaced.
