Teaching professionals: how to improve your course design

Learn how to incorporate Learning Experience Design (LED) into your education for professionals during this three-part training series, intended for anyone who was been or will be teaching professionals, independent of teaching experience.

Teacher
Yentl Croese  (Learning Experience Designer)

During the training, jointly hosted by Universiteit Leiden Academy (ULA) and Leiden Learning and Innovation Centre (LLInC), you will gain hands-on experience on how to design engaging teaching materials. The sessions will be structured as follows:

  1. Introduction of LED with a focus on target audience and learning goals.
  2. Create a Blended course design based on interactive teaching activities.
  3. Recap of course design through evaluation and intervision.

The sessions will be held in English unless every attendee speaks Dutch, in which case they will be held in Dutch. The upcoming first training series will take place in November, but there will also be sessions in January/February and April (dates to be confirmed). You are welcome to register for any of these series of three using the registration link. You will first be asked to fill in which kind of (didactic) support you would prefer while teaching professionals, which will be taken into account during the training.
