Curriculum
Leiden University uses TimeEdit Curriculum (TEC) for curriculum development and management.
Each year, a new curriculum is created in TEC based on the curriculum from the previous year. The data from the previous year is copied to the new curriculum. If changes have been made to a degree programme, such as the level, period or ECTS per course, these changes are made in TEC.
Within TEC, staff have different roles relating to amending the curriculum: Planners, Approvers and Controllers . Planners can remove, add and amend courses in the curriculum. Approvers approve these changes, and Controllers check the curriculum before it is shared with uSis. For more information about TEC, see Screensteps.
