Student mentors
As a student mentor, you are involved in the mentoring programme on behalf of your study programme. You will receive information about your role as a student mentor from a dedicated mentoring coordinator from your study programme or faculty.
A Brightspace environment is available for all student mentors at Leiden University. Here you will find information to help you prepare for your role as student mentor and to organise your mentoring meetings, including the following:
- A basic e-learning course to help you prepare for student mentoring
- Tools: A convenient overview of various tools that will come in handy during mentoring meetings
- Handy, ready-to-use teaching materials that you can use directly during a mentoring meeting
- An additional range of free training courses if you want to learn more about social safety and/or mental health
