Marchien de Mooij new LLInC director
As of 1 May, Marchien de Mooij will take up the role of director of the Leiden Learning & Innovation Centre (LLInC). She brings extensive experience as a higher education manager and is familiar with our university and the challenges it faces. In a previous role at the LUMC, she worked closely with LLInC on topics including digitalisation.
In her new role, Marchien will focus on the knowledge centre’s new strategic, forward-looking direction. ‘I’m looking forward to working with this diverse team and to supporting the innovative and service-oriented role of LLInC’, she said.
Following a year of restructuring, LLInC management team is now complete. ‘We’re ready to work with Marchien to firmly embed LLInC both within Leiden University and beyond’, said Caroline de Ruijter, who served as acting operational director over the past year.
