Sofia de Jong was appointed as a PhD candidate at the Department of Company Law, part of the Institute of Private Law, in November 2023. Her empirical legal research focuses on the effectiveness of Dutch company law as an instrument for influencing behaviour to achieve sustainability goals.

Monique de Deugd-Dijkman joined the Institute of Private Law on 1 May 1998.

Professor Henricus Joseph (Henk) Snijders is an emeritus professor of Civil Law and Civil Procedure at Leiden University. He was a full professor of Civil Law at this university from 1992 up to 2016, from 2007 both of Civil Law and of Civil Procedure.

Janine Ubink is Professor of Law, Governance and Development at the Van Vollenhoven Institute for Law, Governance and Society, of Leiden University.

Laurens van Apeldoorn is an assistant professor of tax law at Leiden University.
