Update: KOG closed until Tuesday 20 June
Here's an update regarding the leakage in the KOG.
What happened?
Due to maintenance work in the KOG this morning, a leakage occurred above the main distribution panel. Because of the unsafe situation that arose, an evacuation was carried out. The risk of a short circuit has been eliminated, and the entire building has been disconnected from the power supply.
The Real Estate department of Leiden University is currently overseeing the repairs for the damage that has occurred. Only damage to the distribution panel has been observed. However, the drying and testing process will take until Tuesday, June 20th at least. Until then, the KOG will remain closed. Please monitor the website for updates.
For students
The SPSS exam scheduled for this morning in the KOG will be rescheduled to a new date, which will be determined later. Participants will receive information about this as soon as possible. The other planned exams will proceed as scheduled.
