Update eduroam disruption (12.30 hrs)
Due to a scheduled change to the IT infrastructure on Monday evening, users are still experiencing problems accessing the university network. It is currently not possible to log into Wi-Fi via eduroam. In addition, some applications are temporarily unavailable.
Due to the IT disruption, the ISSC’s malfunction reports page also cannot be updated. Therefore, please monitor this page for all updates.
What does this mean for you?
- It is still not possible to log into Wi-Fi via eduroam
- If possible, use a personal hotspot or work from home.
- Even if you are working via a different internet connection, you may still not be able to access some applications.
Although we have identified the cause and are working hard to find a solution, it is not yet clear when the problem will be resolved.
Next update
The next status update will be published here at around 14.00 hrs

Original message, 4 August (10.00 hrs)
There is currently a disruption to eduroam across all Leiden University buildings. As a result, Wi-Fi is unavailable to staff and students at our locations in Leiden and The Hague. We are investigating the cause and working to resolve the problem as a matter of the highest priority. In the meantime, we advise you to:
• Use your mobile phone as a hotspot to access the internet;
• Work from home, if your role allows it.
We will post an update here around midday.
