How to speak the language of your research participants?

Your research proposal has successfully passed all committees and you are ready to start engaging with participants. But where do you begin? How do you approach your target audience, understand what matters to them, and communicate about your research in a way that resonates?

During this first edition of Science Communication Stories, researchers Hannah de Boer and Simone Dobbelaar will share what they have learned from their own experiences communicating with and recruiting research participants. In this short 30-minute session, they will inspire you with practical approaches, lessons learned and challenges they encountered along the way, followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Lunch is on us!

This session is especially valuable for you if you would like to better understand your target audience, explore effective ways to connect with participants, and learn from your colleagues' real-world experiences.
