From 16.00, the bar of the KOG restaurant will be open to welcome all staff and students at Leiden Law School. While enjoying refreshments, you can take in a varied and lively programme featuring knowledge sharing, music and opportunities to connect with colleagues.
Faculty Talks
After opening words from the Faculty Board, the programme will get underway with two Faculty Talks and the presentation of artwork at the KOG by the artists and rector magnificus Sarah de Rijcke. A musical intermezzo will be performed by a virtuoso duo that made its name at our very own Leiden Lawlands event last summer. The programme will be presented by Lies and Rosalie, two Leiden Law School students.
Teaching prizes
Our new assessor Asya Bozkurt will announce which courses students have chosen as the most highly rated, as well as education that had the greatest impact (JSVO teaching prizes). Leiden Law Academy (LLA) will present the award for the highest‑rated LLA lecturer.
Afterwards, enjoy a drink and meeting up with colleagues as we celebrate the start of the new academic year.
