This workshop aims to provide PhD students at CWTS with a general overview of the fields of Research Data and Software Management. This includes discussions on:
- key practices in this area, like writing Data Management Plans and assembling Publication Packages;
- the policies underpinning such practices and requirements, such as Leiden University’s Data Management Regulation and the CWTS Research Data Management Guidelines;
- wider debates in the field, including those centered on Open Science and the FAIR Data Principles.
This session is part of the CDS Summer Training Week.
