On 3 May 2026, student music organisation Sempre Crescendo celebrates its 39th lustrum anniversary with a Spring Concert. With no fewer than 185 musicians, they return to the Stadsgehoorzaal to fill the Grote Zaal with the sound of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. With soloists Albert Jan de Boer, Sander de Jong, and Sara Corbey, and pianists Yiyuan Chen and Javier Hombria Hernández, it promises to be an impressive performance. The orchestra and the Madrigaal and Padrigaal choirs will also perform various pieces.
