TimeEdit Curriculum: new curriculum management system
As of 13 October, the university will start using TEC (TimeEdit) Curriculum for its curriculum planning and management. This is a major step towards more efficient and reliable curriculum planning.
Why this matters
Until now, each faculty managed its curriculum in its own way. TEC Curriculum introduces a clear, complete and centralised system for managing curriculum data, such as degree programmes, courses, modes of instruction and more. This data is then shared with other systems, such as uSis, reducing duplication and minimising errors.

How it works?
In TEC Curriculum, you start with the existing data for degree programmes, which is copied to the next academic year. If there are changes to degree programmes for the new academic year (e.g. course level, period or ECTS), the ‘Planner’ enters these in TEC. The Planner role allows you to delete, add and make changes to courses. Once the Planner has made these changes, the ‘Approver’ for that degree programme reviews and approves these changes. Then the ‘Controller’ checks the programme before it is shared with uSIS.
What’s next?
TEC will also be used for information that is published in the prospectus. As of mid-December, TEC Prospectus will be open for updates to exchange and minor courses, and as of March for updates to the texts for the regular courses and degree programmes in the prospectus. Everyone involved will receive instructions ahead of time.
