Several facilities and maintenance projects are currently taking place in the Agora building. Below is an overview of the ongoing work:

1. Lighting replacement
SPIE has now reached the fourth floor. The work is progressing well. They are first replacing the wiring, after which the light fixtures will be installed.

2. Replacement of the external sun shading system
This project is almost complete. Please refer to the announcement "New Sunscreens Agora" for the latest update.

3. Painting and building maintenance
The Multi-Year Maintenance Programme (MJOP) is now underway. The painters are currently at work, audiovisual equipment is being replaced, and in the coming weeks maintenance will also be carried out on the flooring, door and window hardware, and ceilings. These activities are expected to be completed by the end of August.

4. Purple Polder
The Purple Polder will be transformed into the White Polder, and the lighting in this area will be upgraded at the same time. This work will begin after the EL CID Introduction Week and is expected to be completed by the end of August.

5. Cable management during the summer
In collaboration with UFB and ISSC, the following work will be carried out wherever possible:

• Removal of the remaining VoIP telephones;

• Removal of redundant data cabling;

• Organising and tidying the remaining cabling.

6. AV upgrades in the teaching rooms on the fifth floor
Starting this week (13–17 July), Adaptable will spend three weeks replacing the audiovisual equipment in the teaching rooms on the fifth floor.
