Air-handling works at the KOG – July 2026
In the second half of July, work will be carried out on the air-handling system in the Kamerlingh Onnes Building. This will involve replacing the motors for the air supply and extraction in each section of the building.
During the works, air circulation in the affected areas may be temporarily reduced. This may be noticeable as reduced ventilation, less cooling in hot weather and possibly some noise disturbance. When it is hot, staff can open the windows for extra ventilation and cooling.
The works will take place according to the schedule below:
