Boost your funding chances: Matchmaking sessions for Horizon Europe and MCSN

9 September 2026

Boost your funding chances by joining these online matchmaking events focused on Horizon Europe and MCSN calls. Both sessions will help you connect with potential partners, exchange ideas, and build competitive consortia together.

Session one: Cluster 2

Are you an assistant, associate or full professor looking to lead a Horizon Europe project proposal for Cluster 2: Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society? Or would you like to join a consortium as a project partner?  At this online matchmaking session on 9 December, organised by Una Europa, participants will present ideas and connect with potential partners, with the goal of building strong, international consortia.

Participants' research interests should align with one of the Horizon Europe Cluster 2 topics for 2027:

  • Democracy and Governance.
  • Cultural Heritage.
  • Social and Economic Transformations.

See the Una Europa website for more details, and register by 23 October if you are interested in coordinating a project or 27 November if you want to be considered as a project partner.

You can also:

  • Subscribe to our Leiden University Una Europa newsletter, to be directly alerted to future matchmaking events and opportunities for researchers.
  • Reach out to Lea Kodeih, Grant Advisor for collaborative projects at Leiden University, if you are interested in joining this event as a potential project coordinator. She will be happy to discuss your ideas and expectations. This feedback will be used to design the event in a way that supports coordinators and meets their needs.

Session two: One health

In October, the One Health institutes of several Una Europa universities – the University of Helsinki, University College Dublin, University of Zürich and KU Leuven – will organize matchmaking sessions for the the following Horizon Europe and MSCA-DN calls:

  • HORIZON-HLTH-2027-01-ENVHLTH-02: Integrating climate-related exposures into the human exposome and characterising its changes in response to climate change
  • HORIZON-CL2-2027-TRANSFO-01: Impact of access to nature-positive environments in promoting social cohesion and reducing inequalities in urban and peri-urban settings
  • HORIZON-CL6-2027-01-BIODIV-05: Accelerating the transition to a nature positive economy: Integrating biodiversity into the private sector
