First Aid Training for Field Archaeologists (permanent staff)
On 1 March 2027 (1-5 pm), the Field Research Education Centre of the Faculty of Archaeology organizes another First Aid Refresher Course for staff members who will be doing fieldwork.
Participation is restricted to permanent staff members who already did a basic First Aid training.
When interested in joining this refresher course on 1 March, please contact m.s.de.waal@arch.leidenuniv.nl, no later than 15 November 2026.
For permanent staff members with fieldwork but without First Aid certificates, there is an option to first do an individual Online Basic Training, and (once that has been successfully finished) to participate in the Refresher Course on 1 March.
When interested in doing the individual Online Basic Training and the refresher course on 1 March, please contact m.s.de.waal@arch.leidenuniv.nl no later than 15 November 2026.
Please note that First Aid certificates need to be renewed every year!
