Call: apply by 2 November for the AXA New Gen initiative
Are you a researcher without a permanent position and do you hold a PhD since no more than five years (extension scheme for maternity/paternity leave applies)? And do you have a research idea for responsible nature-based solutions for a resilient, sustainable and inclusive future? Then please take a look at the AXA New Gen initiative. You could receive funding of €140,000 for a two year transdisciplinary project, together with societal partners.
Responsible Nature-Based Solutions for a Resilient, Sustainable and Inclusive Future
The AXA programme offers promising early-career researchers a grant to foster transformative, inter- and transdisciplinary research networks, at the intersection of multiple fields and societal actors. The research must contribute at local, regional or global scale to the theme ‘Responsible Nature-Based Solutions for a Resilient, Sustainable and Inclusive Future’, with a particular focus on environmental challenges or health and socio-economic challenges.
Call guidelines
For further details, please read the call guidelines. As a university, we can nominate just one researcher for this call, therefore, an internal selection takes place by the rector. To be considered for this, you can submit an internal application until 2 November 12.00 PM to Anna Terra Verhage (SAZ) and Zoë Elstrodt (LURIS). An internal nomination consists of a completed form in English, including a cv and approval for participation from your institute’s Scientific Director or mandated person.
Interested?
If you are interested, please reach out to your Scientific Director and/or local grant advisor and discuss your plans. For questions, please contact Anna Terra Verhage or Zoë Elstrodt.
