Successful evacuation drill in the Agora Building
During an evacuation drill on Thursday 29 October 2026, the Agora Building was fully evacuated within 12 minutes. Approximately 2,000 people were in the building at the time of the drill.
The drill began at 10.04 am. The aim was to evacuate the building as quickly as possible. With the building fully evacuated within 12 minutes, the drill was a success.
Evacuation drills help ensure that people are prepared for a real emergency. By practising, those in the building become familiar with how to evacuate when an alarm sounds.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the drill possible. Together, we contribute to a safe working and learning environment.
