Open Access Publishing for Early Career Researchers
Publishing scholarly journal articles remains a key way for most researchers to share their results and findings. To reach a wide audience for your research, you will want to make your articles as openly available as possible. But how can you do this? This 90-minute interactive workshop is designed to help you navigate the maze of publishers’ requirements and jargon, funders’ rules, the university’s expectations, and library websites. We will explore different routes to open access for journal articles, clarify policies, and demystify publishing jargon. We’ll also take a practical look at what tools you can use to get your article published as openly as possible.
