Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the kick-off of the interdisciplinary theme Languages, Cultures and Worldviews on Thursday 29 October, from 14:00 to 18:00.
Across our faculties, there is already a wide range of research, teaching and outreach connected to languages, cultures and worldviews. This kick-off is an opportunity to bring these different perspectives together, highlight existing expertise and initiatives, and explore new opportunities for collaboration and exchange.
We will bring together researchers, lecturers, PhD candidates, students, and colleagues working in outreach and science communication from Archaeology, Humanities, and Social and Behavioural Sciences.
Through a range of practical examples, we will explore how research and expertise can reach wider audiences, what works well, and what challenges people encounter along the way. There will also be plenty of opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas and to explore together where there are opportunities to create stronger connections between research, education and outreach.
