Supervising interdisciplinary bachelor and master thesis projects comes with unique challenges: how can you help students navigate disciplinary boundaries and develop interdisciplinary skills? How can you support them in bringing together the expectations and customs of different academic disciplines into one coherent final product?
Join Alexander van Oudenhoven (Programme Director and Thesis Research coordinator MSc Governance of Sustainability), Indira Day (ICLON), Aayushi Shah (LLInC), Nilou Daneshkhah (LLInC), and colleagues from across Leiden University for an interactive session to learn from one another and explore practical approaches to interdisciplinary thesis supervision. Leave with fresh perspectives, useful insights, and ideas you can apply to your own practice, from fostering interdisciplinary skills to aligning expectations and assessment.
