If you’re working on a PhD track and are experiencing psychological issues, you can contact one of the psychologists for PhD candidates for help with problems that have arisen during the PhD process or are directly affecting this.

In certain circumstances, you may be entitled to short or long-term special leave. Emergency leave is leave that you may take if you need to take immediate time off from work to deal with sudden emergencies or exceptional personal circumstances.

We all occasionally receive an email from an unknown sender, with content we weren’t expecting or that raises our suspicions in some other way. This is usually a fake email, also known as a phishing email. In fact, there are various types of phishing: it can also be done over the phone.

If you relocate for your work or if the University requires you to move, you may qualify for a relocation allowance or bonus.

If you are going on a business trip to a destination that poses health risks, you can make an appointment with the specialised nurses of the University. They can give you advice and indicate whether you will require any vaccinations or malaria medication.
