Attend the annual Byvanck Lecture on Digital Safeguarding of the Baalshamîn Temple in Palmyra
The board of the BABESCH Foundation organizes The Sixteenth Annual Byvanck Lecture on Tuesday, 18 April 2023, in the Temple Hall of the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden. Dr Patrick M. Michel, a Senior Lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Lausanne, will give a lecture on the topic 'Digital Safeguarding of the Baalshamîn Temple in Palmyra: A Project of the University of Lausanne'.
