Work safely with Copilot via Bing
A recent development for Leiden University staff members with managed laptops is that you can now work safely with Copilot (formerly known als Bing Chat) in the Edge browser. Microsoft uses ChatGPT technology for this and the data are processed in the same secure way as Leiden University's other Office products, such as OneDrive and Outlook. Open the Edge browser and select the blue Bing symbol at the top right. On the tab "Chat", you will see some examples of things you could ask and you can also choose how creative or precise Bing should be. On the tab “Compose”, you can use a few simple presets for generating text about anything you want, for example using presets for emails.
