Not used your Pluim voucher? Read what you can do here
In February we informed you in the newsletter that Pluimen.nl, the platform behind your Christmas gift, had been declared bankrupt. An investigation is currently underway to determine if a restart is possible, but until further notice, gift cards from Pluimen.nl cannot be redeemed.
We investigated whether it was possible and desirable to submit a collective claim as an organisation. After careful consideration, we have decided not to do this. A collective claim would involve a considerable administrative burden, while we would have no guarantee of receiving compensation.
What can you do yourself?
If you received a Pluim voucher but have not used it yet, you can submit an individual claim to the trustee. This is easy to do via the website https://www.claimsagent.nl/nl/Insolvencies/Details/30527. This site gives you step-by-step guidance through the process of submitting your claim. For this you will need the code(s) of your Pluim voucher, and possibly some additional documentary evidence.
We understand that this may be a disappointment. It is distressing when an end-of-year gift -intended to show appreciation for everyone’s work- loses its value. As the board, we find this situation most unfortunate. We hope this explanation will help to clarify the steps that you can take.
