Guidelines for the use of GenAI in assessment
The use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in teaching, exams, and assignments has been a topic of discussion for some time now, but what are the exact rules that our students must adhere to?
For all students at our Faculty, the rules and guidelines regarding the permitted and prohibited use of GenAI in exams/tests have now been clearly outlined. The core message remains: GenAI use for gradable texts/assignments is not permitted unless the lecturer decides otherwise. But even in cases where GenAI use (including, for example, machine translation) is permitted by a lecturer, it's important that students know what is and was is not allowed and what the caveats and risks of AI use are.
Read the Guidelines for the use of GenAI in assessment.
