The introduction of the new administrative system BAS InSite is approaching fast. From 5 January 2026, we will be working university-wide with this system, which is hosted by AFAS. BAS will replace a number of our current administrative tools.

Over the past year, the Local AFAS Team (LAT), made up entirely of FWN colleagues, has been closely involved in the preparations. These colleagues are now very familiar with the system and will be the first point of contact within their own department or institute once BAS goes live.

Where can you find information?

• In BAS InSite: within the portals you will find clickable information items, Quick Reference Cards and links to knowledge items in the helpdesk portal. Use these as your starting point when working with BAS.

• In the helpdeskportal

• On the employee website: here you will find general information and frequently asked questions.

• On the intranet: the intranet contains information, webinars and FAQs on topics relevant to our faculty. This page is continuously updated with the latest information.

• Via the Local Afas Team (LAT): would you rather speak to someone directly? Check who in your department is part of the Local AFAS Team and contact them.
