Call for Proposals: Pathways to Decolonising Higher Education conference
What would higher education look like if it were not built through a single epistemic tradition? Whose knowledge counts in our classrooms, research agendas, and institutional policies, and whose remains invisible?
These questions are at the heart of the hybrid international conference Beyond the Western Lens: Pathways to Decolonising Higher Education – organized by Una Europa and scheduled for 24–25 September 2026.
Researchers, teaching staff, professional services staff, doctoral researchers, Master’s and Bachelor’s students, and practitioners are invited to contribute with a presentation, panel discussion, round table or workshop. Full details, including sub-themes and proposal requirements, are available on the Una Europa website. The deadline for submitting proposals is 15 May 2026.
The conference is free to attend and will be fully hybrid. Presenters and participants can join live in Helsinki or online.
