Some matters occasionally need a brief explanation or a clear agreement. The Executive Board of the Institute of Psychology sets out what is important to know and, where necessary, what deserves some attention. This time: Remember to register your holiday leave and make arrangements with your supervisor about working from home. 

Reminder to register holiday leave 

We hope everyone was able to enjoy some time off or a well-deserved holiday this summer. We would like to remind you to register the leave days you have taken in BAS, if you have not already done so. This does not apply to employees with a function-based contract. 

Dicuss working from home with your supervisor 

If your work allows it, you can work partly from home and partly at the University. How this combination of working from home and at the University will turn out for you depends on your own working activities and situation and those of your team. 
Working from home is not a legal right, and not all positions are suitable for working from home. If you want to work from home, you should discuss with your supervisor your preferences and the possibilities available.  

Conditions 

Staff who are able to work on a structural basis at least one day a week: 
- Have a position where their work allows them to work from home 
- Spend at least 40% of their working hours in the office 

Part-time employment 

For employees working part-time, the agreed working days are taken into account. They therefore cannot be scheduled on days when they are not available according to their fixed work schedule.
