Join the third edition of our open-mic-style event, part of the Kiem grant 'Networking Heritage at Leiden University'. This session invites PhDs, postdocs, and academic staff from all faculties to pitch their research through the lens of cultural heritage.

This edition is co-hosted with the Faculty of Law, offering an opportunity to reflect on the evolving relationships between law, society, and heritage. How are legal frameworks involved in shaping what we consider cultural heritage? What happens when heritage becomes contested or protected by law? While these questions will help shape the discussion, researchers from all disciplines are warmly encouraged to take part.

Whether your work directly tackles cultural heritage or engages with it in less obvious ways, this is your chance to:

  • Learn how others approach the topic;
  • Find inspiration for your own research;
  • Connect with colleagues across disciplines.

The format is informal and spontaneous. Pitch your project on the spot or simply listen to the ideas shared by others. Want to reserve your 5-minute pitch slot in advance or just attend? Please sign up using the form below.
