15.15-15.20 Welcome by Prof Marian Klamer, director of the Graduate School of Humanities

15.20-15.40 Practical information about the PhD trajectory by Pui Chi Lai, coordinator Research Policy and Impact

15.40-16.00 Talk on Open Science by the Centre for Digital Scholarship

16.00-17.00 Panel discussion with tips and tricks about the PhD trajectory from different perspectives. The panel members are:

• Prof. Henk te Velde – Dean of the Faculty of Humanities (Institute for History)
• Prof. Maghiel van Crevel – Director of doctoral studies at the Leiden Institute for Area Studies (LIAS)
• Dr. Nanne Timmer – PhD supervisor at the Leiden University Centre for the Arts in Society (LUCAS)
• Saskia Dunn – PhD candidate at the Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL)
