The Terms of Employment Individual Choices Model gives you some freedom to select your own terms and conditions.

Once every three years, you can offset the cost of purchasing a bicycle for yourself or a battery for your own electric bike through the Terms of Employment Individual Choices Model.

For your commuting days, you can apply for a supplementary allowance in the Terms of Employment Individual Choices Model. You will not be reimbursed in full for your commuting expenses, but you will benefit from a tax benefit.

If you have incurred costs for your work, you may be entitled to reimbursement. For example material costs, but also travel costs for commuting and business trips. We’ve listed all the possibilities below.

Course, Summer School

If your work allows it, you can work partly from home and partly from a university location. How exactly this combination looks for you depends on your own work and that of your team.

If you have a guest or visitor who needs access to the network drives or a ULCN account, you can have him or her registered in the guest management system (GMS) via your GMS contact person.

Applications are now open for the Summer School ‘The European Union, the United Nations and Global Governance’ (12 - 23 June 2023) for Master-level and PhD students. The activity is supported by the European Union’s Jean Monnet programme (Erasmus+).

The Summer School will take place from 14-25 June 2021 and welcomes Master-level and PhD-level students who are interested in learning more about the interactions between the EU and the UN and the EU’s role within current patterns in global governance.
