The Hague Global Futures Hub was officially launched at the Wijnhaven building on Campus The Hague on 10 June. This collaboration between Leiden University and the University of Edinburgh represents a significant step forward in addressing global challenges.

On 14 April 2022, the GTGC and LUCIR co-organised/sponsored an event about Preventing Future Ukraines at Wijnhaven building. The event was organized by Arlinda Rrustemi and it was attended by several speakers.

On Wednesday 6 September 2017 the Interest Group on Migration and Refugee Law of the European Society of International Law (ESIL/SEDI) hosted a workshop in Naples, Italy, in cooperation with the ILS 2.0 Project.
