Seed funding call for collaboration with priority partners in the regions: €15.000 for interdisciplinary projects.
Academic staff at Leiden University and LUMC are invited to apply for the second round of the LUGF seed funding call. This call aims to fund research, education and outreach activities with preferred partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America. If you are interested in working with colleagues in these regions, make sure to check out this year’s call.
The LUGF aims to fund 12 projects that contribute to existing partnerships in the mentioned regions, by establishing new or scaling up existing initiatives. These projects should be interdisciplinary, international, thematic and include early career researchers.
Who can participate?
Academic staff with an appointment until at least 31/12/2026 can apply to the call as a main applicant. Co-applicants are to be:
- a colleague at another faculty and
- a colleague at a priority partner institution.
You may only apply to this call with one proposal.
